A group of people hires a plane to Cuba for a business convention. Halfway through the trip, they discover that their pilot is actually their old college professor who doesn't have a license. They manage to land in Havana and make it back to the States without too much trouble, but now their professor has been caught by the FBI. Will they be able to save him? In this action-packed adventure from director Mira Nair, an international group of businessmen set off on a whirlwind tour of Havana's historic sites and nightlife with a retired pilot as their guide. The trouble starts when the passengers learn that their pilot has never been licensed to fly a plane. With time running out, the group must band together to overcome their differences and help their fearless leader make his way back to safety. The cast from the first film will return along with Jackie Chan reprising his role as Wong Fei-Hong from "Kung Fu Panda 2". The original soundtrack is composed by Sandesh Shandilya and released in 2015. The music is sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Guru Randhawa, and Asha Bhosle. The film was announced in October 2014. The film began filming on 19 February 2015, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Filming also took place in Cuba and the United States with a budget of $20 million financed by ABP Infotainment's head Maheish Girji and his wife Sakshi Girji (the former head of the channel). Album - Songs: 1 A review website called www.movie2kapi. com reported that most of the songs are sung by "Gurmeet Singh & Shefali Alvares" and most of the lyrics are penned by "Mahesh Bhatt". The duo later released a remix version of the song "Tum Aise Ho" featuring Bhavana's voice. To promote the film, Akshay Kumar, Jackky Bhagnani, Anil Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Chitrangada Singh etc. were present at promotional events in various parts of India. The film was released on 14 May 2015 in over 1,300 theatres across the country on 1200 screens with an estimated budget of Rs. 35 crore (approximately $7 million). Box Office India declared the film as a 'Flop' within 12 days of its release.The film received mixed reviews. Subhash K Jha gave the film 3/5 stars saying, ""Chandni Chowk to China" is a richly coloured, impeccably enthralling adventure that leaves you with the warmest of feelings." Shubhra Gupta from The Indian Express gave it 2/5 saying that "There are plenty of laughs, but they are uneven."
